Banning 4 Indian's in UUM.....!!!

HI there all...
Here I'm going to deliver to you all the important matter that must be read by all the Indians in Malaysia. After reading this news I hope you all can spend some time to read this message. This incident is recently happen in UUM ( University Utara Malaysia ) located in Kedah. As our Indian culture we practice prayers to the lord where ever we are staying in this world.Of cos we will hang in the wall of our room the Lord picture (eg: vinayagar, saraswathy or etc ).This practice has been banned in the UUM campus hostel. As we know our religion encourage us to pray to the GOD where ever we are. It's up to the individuals the way that they are going to practice the prayers. But how can the the UUM authorities banned this practice. For malay if they want to pray it's not a big issue for them because the government have given them each 100meter a mosque cost of hundred of thousands. So how bout the Indians, they have to pray in the room or they have to travel far to go the temple. For malay they also praying in the room as you all can see in the top of the ceiling there will be a sign written ARAH KIBLAT.Ok this is the first issue.

The next issue is they also can't put Vibuthi and Kumkum in their forehead.Hey come on lah this is to much for the authorities to banned this practice. As we know it's common for all the Indians to practice this matter.I don't think even in the strong Islamic country also taken action to the Indians there like this.I don't know what going to happen after this. The authorities they didn't stop at there, somemore they punished a girl that wearing a string ( Mudikaiyru ) in the hand, you know how much they punished the girl...????She paid RM250 !!!!!for wearing it.Do you all get angry after hearing this message. This string is normal for the Indians because they believe that by wearing the string it can protect us from evil or bad things. As Indians we all know that.

Hey common Indians out there ....wake up!!! What we are going to do for this matter. As a Indian I have taken my ample of time to type this matter in a single sheet as my English is not so good.I hope all of the readers out there can forward this message to all Indians in Malaysia even to our Indian leaders also. This matter had happen recently and as my information this banning matter never happen in any other government university and college also even in UUM also before this.We can't let this matter as a small issue,we know this is a Islamic country and not a democratic country.( Democratic in mouth only when polls going on ).I really thanks for you all to spend time time to read this message. This is true and you can always verified with any of the students there now. Thanks again.

3G Techonolgy

3G is a short term for third-generation wireless, and refers to near-future developments in personal and business wireless technology, especially mobile communications. This phase is expected to reach maturity between the years 2003 and 2005.

The third generation, as its name suggests, follows the first generation (1G) and second generation (2G) in wireless communications. The 1G period began in the late 1970s and lasted through the 1980s. These systems featured the first true mobile phone systems, known at first as "cellular mobile radio telephone." These networks used analog voice signaling, and were little more sophisticated than repeater networks used by amateur radio operators. The 2G phase began in the 1990s, and much of this technology is still in use. The 2G cell phone features digital voice encoding. Examples include CDMA, TDMA, and GSM. Since its inception, 2G technology has steadily improved, with increased bandwidth, packet routing, and the introduction of multimedia. The present state of mobile wireless communications is often called 2.5G.

Ultimately, 3G is expected to include capabilities and features such as:

Enhanced multimedia (voice, data, video, and remote control)

Usability on all popular modes (cellular telephone, e-mail, paging, fax, videoconferencing, and Web browsing)

Broad bandwidth and high speed (upwards of 2 Mbps)

Routing flexibility (repeater, satellite, LAN)

Operation at approximately 2 GHz transmit and receive frequencies

While 3G is generally considered applicable mainly to mobile wireless, it is also relevant to fixed wireless and portable wireless. The ultimate 3G system might be operational from any location on, or over, the earth's surface, including use in homes, businesses, government offices, medical establishments, the military, personal and commercial land vehicles, private and commercial watercraft and marine craft, private and commercial aircraft (except where passenger use restrictions apply), portable (pedestrians, hikers, cyclists, campers), and space stations and spacecraft.

Proponents of 3G technology promise that it will "keep people connected at all times and in all places." Researchers, engineers, and marketeers are faced with the challenge of accurately predicting how much technology consumers will actually be willing to pay for. (Recent trends suggest that people sometimes prefer to be disconnected, especially when on vacation.) Another concern involves privacy and security issues. As technology becomes more sophisticated and bandwidth increases, systems become increasingly vulnerable to attack by malicious hackers (known as crackers) unless countermeasures are implemented to protect against such activity

Video Cards

Your system's video card is the component responsible for producing the visual output from your computer. Virtually all programs produce visual output; the video card is the piece of hardware that takes that output and tells the monitor which of the dots on the screen to light up (and in what color) to allow you to see it.

Like most parts of the PC, the video card had very humble beginnings--it was only responsible for taking what the processor produced as output and displaying it on the screen. Early on, this was simply text, and not even color at that. Video cards today are much more like coprocessors; they have their own intelligence and do a lot of processing that would otherwise have to be done by the system processor. This is a necessity due to the enormous increase both in how much data we send to our monitors today, and the sophisticated calculations that must be done to determine what we see on the screen. This is particularly so with the rise of graphical operating systems, and 3D computing.

The video card in your system plays a significant role in the following important aspects of your computer system:

Performance: The video card is one of the components that has an impact on system performance. For some people (and some applications) the impact is not that significant; for others, the video card's quality and efficiency can impact on performance more than any other component in the PC! For example, many games that depend on a high frame rate (how many times per second the screen is updated with new information) for smooth animation, are impacted far more by the choice of video card than even by the choice of system CPU.
Software Support: Certain programs require support from the video card. The software that normally depends on the video card the most includes games and graphics programs. Some programs (for example 3D-enhanced games) will not run at all on a video card that doesn't support them.

Reliability and Stability: While not a major contributor to system reliability, choosing the wrong video card can cause problematic system behavior. In particular, some cards or types of cards are notorious for having unstable drivers, which can cause a host of difficulties.
Comfort and Ergonomics: The video card, along with the monitor, determine the quality of the image you see when you use your PC. This has an important impact on how comfortable the PC is to use. Poor quality video cards don't allow for sufficiently high refresh rates, causing eyestrain and fatigue.

It was initially referred to as HoTMaiL with selective uppercasing.
Hewlett Packard
Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard tossed a coin to decide whether the company They founded would be called Hewlett-Packard or Packard-Hewlett.
Intel
Bob Noyce and Gordon Moore wanted to name their new company 'Moore Noyce' But that was already trademarked by a hotel chain so they had to settle for an Acronym of INTegrated ELectronics.

Tallest Muruga statue unveiled in Malaysia

Tens of thousands of Hindus and onlookers gathered near the popular Batu Caves temple near here to witness the unveiling of a gigantic statue of Lord Muruga, reportedly the tallest in the world. Flowers were showered from helicopters on the 42.7 metre statue, crafted by Indian sculptors, located outside the popular Subramanya temple in Batu Caves. The unveiling of the huge statue, which cost approximately Rs 2.4 crore to make, is made of 1,550 cubic metres of concrete, 250 tonnes of steel bars and 300 litres of gold paint brought in from neighbouring Thailand. It has been crafted by 15 Indian sculptors who worked more than three years on the project. Temple officials plan to seek the recognition of the Guinness Book of World Records for the statue as the tallest Lord Muruga statue in the world, chairman of the temple R Nadarajah said. The statue has been unveiled two weeks ahead of the largely popular Thai Poosam festival which will be celebrated on February 11 when thousands of Hindus and foreigners climb the more than 200 steps of the Batu Caves to visit the temple of Lord Muruga.
